  THE WORLD DANCE DAY 🌏💃   The Dance committee of ITI founded the international dance day decided to celebrate  the day on April 29 to honour the birthday of Jean-georges Noverre who is known as the ccreator of modern ballet .   Dancing can be way to stay fit for people of all ages , shapes and sizes . It has a wide range of physical and mental benefits including , improved condition of your heart and lungs . Increased muscular strength , endurance and motor fitness .  Initiated in 1982 by the international dance committee of the UNESCO international theorter institute , international dance day falls on April 29 of every year .  

  LET'S PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT 🍃 The environment is the surrounding around us water , air, trees, land and begins are the parts of the environment .   The environmental pollution has become a major problem .People pollute the water by mixing poisonous chemicals and waste matter. Air is polluted by mixing smoke and poisonous gases issued through the chimneys of large factories . Land is polluted by collecting garbage .  People cut down trees in a careless manner.They never think of the bad effects of it.We get the most needed rain because of the trees.Trees help not only to the man but also to the animals .Birds build their nests on trees .Trees stops the soil crosion too.  We should not put garbage here and there. We should collect the garbage and burn. If we want want to lead the healthy life we should keep our environment clean.  We should grow more and more trees. We should keep our gardens clean.Let's protect our environment .

  Kaffiringha Songs 💃🎶🎸  Kaffiringha songs are derived from the Portuguese . These songs are composed of very simple tunes . These songs are sung in a fast rhythm and capricorn songs written in portuguese .  The features of these songs are simple melodies and fast rhythmic singing . You can also see some kind of dance during the singing.     It is simple dance performed according to the rhythm of the song. Both men and women sing these song. The girls who take part in the singing also take part in the dance. They grab the corners of the skirt the are wearing and dance. 💃   These songs are sung using coconut shells , spoons or any other hand- held instrument .  Viola , Banjo raban , Tambourine , Guitar , etc are used are musical instruments .  The following are some of the songs written in association with tha Kaffiringha song tradition .   EPIDAURUS THEATER 🎭  The epidaurus thearter in Greece in very large Circular theater .The actors and actresses wore big masks , high heels and big coats to make the audience look good.🎭 Megohone 📢 has been used to make their conversations better heard by the public. The theater is circular shape from bottom to top.   This is due to the fact that the ancient kingdom of Greece is characterized by topography , and because of its many hills, the theater was built by cutting the stairs .  🍃 This is based on the fact that the soun reses to the audience.The building behind the theater,called skinny,is where the actors and actresses enter the theorter .Crane technology has Also been used In these plays.  

Traditional Dance in Sri Lanka     🇱🇰  There are three principal dancing forms of Sri Lankan clclassical dance.there are the kandyan dances of the hill country the low country dances of the southern plains and  Sabaragamuwa dances.  Traditional dance in Sri Lanka is performed in many events and festivals throughout the year.  The kandy Dances..
