Kaffiringha songs are derived from the Portuguese . These songs are composed of very simple tunes . These songs are sung in a fast rhythm and capricorn songs written in portuguese . 

The features of these songs are simple melodies and fast rhythmic singing . You can also see some kind of dance during the singing.    

It is simple dance performed according to the rhythm of the song. Both men and women sing these song. The girls who take part in the singing also take part in the dance. They grab the corners of the skirt the are wearing and dance. πŸ’ƒ  


These songs are sung using coconut shells , spoons or any other hand- held instrument .  Viola , Banjo raban , Tambourine , Guitar , etc are used are musical instruments .
